Youth & Children

If you think church is boring, think again!

Our groups for children and young people on Sunday mornings are led by members of New Harvest whose aim is to meet the individual needs and development whilst encouraging their Christian growth.

All groups use Energize as a teaching resource which allows for a theme to follow through all the age ranges.

Our teaching can make a valuable contribution to your childs education.

Little Kids Kingdom @ NHCC

Our motto is: "Building strong foundations for our youngest Generations of God’s children"

A crèche is provided on a Sunday morning for children under four years old. Here they can play in a safe environment enabling their parents/carers to gain the most benefit from the teaching part of the morning service. We provide the best care following Jesus’ example, NHCC guidance and National Childcare standards for crèche provision.

We believe young children will come to love our Lord through our example of Christian attitudes and loving care in action. The children look forward to enjoying the music, stories and many other fun activities.

Livewires!

This is the place to be on a Sunday morning if you are in school years Reception to Year 6.

From the moment the children leave the main service the action packed programme, led by a dedicated team, makes the Bible come alive with a variety of fun activities.

A typical week might include: listening to stories from the Bible, taking part in drama, games, discussion, prayer and worship.

Livewires! encourages children to discover God’s love for them.

ALF

Young people from years 7-11 break away from the main Church body and go to their own lounge to do their own study in a more understandable way with stories, games and activities.

Recent studies included Youth Alpha but they also spend time chatting about contemporary issues, praying, sharing together and even serving in other areas of the church.

In addition to the groups we offer, Junction28 run a local monthly evening service called "Doubt Your Doubts" aimed specifically for young people. This happens on the first Sunday of each month (excluding Summer Holidays). For more information visit: www.junction28.org
